Another specialty of Cooper Street Innovations is Simulation and Analysis. We offer several Simulation and Analysis Services, including:
- Pre-Routing Signal Integrity Simulation: for design rule creation
- Post-Routing Signal Integrity Simulation: for pre-build checks
- Hardware Design Inspection: targeting specific portions of a design, or a complete design review
- Root Cause Analysis: design trouble-shooting and issue resolution
Signal Integrity Analysis
We can perform either a complete or partial Signal Integrity Analysis on your design, either for pre-routing rule creation or for post-routing analysis.
Hardware Design Inspection
A design re-spin can be costly and time consuming. We provide a design review service that can improve the probability of achieving the elusive single-spin design.
The design review process consists of an experienced designer analyzing your design documentation and investigating anything that appears suspect. We will provide you with a document that describes everything that was reviewed and any recommendations that result from the review. This process generally takes 2-8 weeks depending on design complexity and the level of detail requested.
We can perform reviews on an entire design or on specific high-risk aspects of a design, for example EMI, SDRAM timing, power supplies, etc.
Root-Cause Analysis
Nothing is more stressful in the product development world than to uncover issues in a product that's already in production. We can help during these high-stress times - either by taking your design files and samples of failing cards and performing a Root-Cause-Analysis or working with your Designers, providing on extra set of experienced eyes and hands.
